Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Nest Project collects, why we collect it, how it is stored, and the choices and rights you have. Nest Project is committed to protecting your privacy and complies with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
Nest Project is an independent service operated by William Panggadewa (“Nest Project”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, please use our Contact page.
2. What data we collect
- Account information. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
- Financial data you enter. The holdings, cash, other assets, debts, milestones, and net-worth history you record, plus a log of changes you make (kept for about 90 days).
- Profile details (optional). A display name, short motto, and photo, if you choose to add them.
- Preferences. Settings such as your chosen language and light/dark theme.
- Technical data. Basic information generated automatically when you use any website — such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps — processed by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We do not collect payment-card details, and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking.
3. How and why we use your data
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To store your portfolio and show your net worth, history, and calculations across your devices.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service and fix problems.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and to comply with the law.
4. Legal bases (PDPA)
We rely on the following legal bases to process your data:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the account and features you ask for.
- Legitimate interest — to keep the service secure, reliable, and improving.
- Consent — where required, for example when you voluntarily provide optional profile details. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with applicable law.
5. Cookies and local storage
Nest Project uses only essential browser storage — it does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Specifically, we use:
- Authentication tokens (via Google Firebase) so you stay signed in.
- Local storage for your preferences (language, theme) and a cached copy of your portfolio so the app loads quickly and works smoothly.
6. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the trusted providers that make Nest Project work, acting as our data processors:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google Asia Pacific) — user authentication and secure database storage of your account and portfolio.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
To value your holdings, Nest Project also requests prices from third-party market-data sources. These requests are for price information and do not include your personal or portfolio data.
7. International transfers
Our providers may store and process data on servers located outside Thailand. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards for your information, consistent with the PDPA.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your account and portfolio data for as long as your account is active. The activity log is retained for approximately 90 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal data, except where we must retain it to comply with the law.
9. How we protect your data
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to your portfolio is restricted by security rules so that only your signed-in account can read or write it. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
10. Your rights under the PDPA
Subject to the law, you have the right to:
- access and obtain a copy of your personal data;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- request deletion of your data;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- request that your data be transferred (data portability);
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in Thailand.

11. Children’s privacy
Nest Project is not directed to children. If you are a minor under Thai law, please use Nest Project only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date below, and significant changes may be highlighted within the app.

11. ความเป็นส่วนตัวของเด็ก
Nest Project ไม่ได้มุ่งเป้าไปที่เด็ก หากคุณเป็นผู้เยาว์ตามกฎหมายไทย โปรดใช้ Nest Project ภายใต้การดูแลและความยินยอม ของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองตามกฎหมายเท่านั้น
12. การเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบายนี้
เราอาจปรับปรุงนโยบายความเป็นส่วนตัวนี้เป็นครั้งคราว เมื่อมีการปรับปรุง เราจะแก้ไขวันที่ “อัปเดตล่าสุด” ด้านล่าง และการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่สำคัญอาจถูกแจ้งเน้นภายในแอป
